Woodland walks and sculpture trail at Rocks East Woodland campsite

The attractive woodland at Rocks East, which is a mix of broadleaf and coniferous trees, enables campers to enjoy a little part of our lovely English countryside at its best. The forest also provides a home for deer, badgers, foxes, other smaller mammals, a variety of birdlife and many interesting plants and insects.

For children there is a sculpture trail with carved woodland animals and birds, and a family picnic area near our ‘Teddy Bear’ log cabin!

The woods are not open on a daily basis, but if people would like to come for a morning or afternoon and enjoy the forest, wander around the sculpture trail and the maple grove, and perhaps bring a picnic, we will be happy to accommodate families and groups by arrangement.
