Camping at Rocks East Woodland

At Rocks East our three fields at the edge of the woodland, sheltered by trees, provide a pretty and relaxed camping atmosphere. We try as much as we can to adopt an informal approach to enable campers to enjoy their experience. A particular feature of our campsite is the fact that we allow camp fires and provide specially made fire trays for this purpose. Logs are always available and are sourced from our own sustainable woodland.

Situated just below the campsite, but within easy walking distance from the toilets/showers, we have a Yurt with its own little woodland garden. It is insulated and carpeted and has a double sofa bed and single put-you-up (bring your own bedding). It also has electricity and a wood-burning stove. Logs for the stove may be purchased at the office. Outside is a kettle barbecue, a few patio chairs and a table. There is also room for a small tent in the same location. The cost is £95 a night (two nights’ minimum booking) and the Yurt sleeps a family of four/five, depending on the age of the children. Together with family groups, we also welcome school parties, brownies, cubs, scouts, guides and other youth groups.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on our campsite.
